In October of 2026 I had the pleasure of accompanying my good friend Celso on a trip to Tuscany, Italy. I’ve never been overseas, so this was a trip of lifetime for me. We arrived at the Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International Airport on a Friday morning and after picking up our rental, a Fiat 500 (manual transimssion) we head out to Tuscany - about 3 hours north of Rome. We arrived mid-afternoon but able to enter our apartment that we based ourselves from for the duration of the trip. The town of Montichiello is a small, hilltop, walled town with a population of about 200, over 1000 years old. And it’s all UP HILL!
