"The Ladder - French River" - 17 x 11" Colour Photograph

I was on a canoe trip, lead by the intrepid Marty Tannahill and accomanied by my good friend, Celso Mollo. We camped at a location called The Ladder for two nights. The weather was glorius for September. You can read more about this trip in my blog.

In the Spring, the water level is much higher and this location becomes flooded and overflows, creating a cascade to the join with the river below. At this time of year, the river has a more established route where you are required to run the rapids to get further downstream.
