Join Mike as we explore the fundamentals of editing images in Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.

We'll explore the many facets of editing an image, be it Jpeg or RAW, but with an emphasis on techniques to get the most out of your RAW images. Adjusting white balance, tonal values including recovering highlights and shadows, setting your black point and reading your histogram, to enhancing presence in your photographs through creative use of Clarity, Dehaze and Vibrance. We’ll also touch on using Tone Curves, Hue - Saturation - Luminosity settings, sharpening, lens corrections and special effects.

We’ll also include how to create Presets of your favourite adjustments, using the History palette and “Snapshots” as well as cropping, masking and adjustment brushes.

Time: 9:30 am to 2:00 pm with a short lunch break.

Where: 295 King St., Lower Level, Studio 2 (click for detailed directions - it’s a little tricky!).

Cost: $85 per person. Maximum of 6 students.
