As part of its continuing program of Honours & Awards,
the Professional Photographers of Canada are pleased to announce that:
MIKE GUILBAULT, CPA, APPO
is a recipient of the coveted
CRAFTSMAN OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS.
The honours and awards bestowed upon its members by the PPOC are in recognition of the contributions made by them to the Association and to photography in Canada. These photographers have proven their photographic abilities by participating in the Association's National Print Competition and have confirmed their dedication to the profession by serving the Association.
Returning something to the profession that provides their livelihood is part of the badge of distinction that denotes holders of these awards. The Professional Photographers of Canada is a not-for-profit organization which represents portrait, wedding, commercial, military and digital photographers from across the country. The Association promotes photographic excellence through education and exploration of image artistry and establishes standards of professional performance.
The Award was presented to Mr. Guilbault by PPOC President Michael Jessop, MPA, at the Association's annual Awards Banquet which was held May 6, 2003 in Whistler, British Columbia.
