What this means is that when you order a print that is not of the images 'native' aspect ratio some cropping may occur to make it fit the size of print ordered.

The 2007 National Image Competition of the Professional Photographers of Canada took place last week during the 2007 Annual Convention of the PPOC, in Winnipeg, MB.

Mike Guilbault, CPA, APPO
a professional photographer from Barrie, Ontario, was awarded;

First Place in the Architecture Class
for Professional Commercial Photography.

Guilbault has been a professional photographer in Barrie for over 18 years and specializes in commercial, corporate and portrait photography. This image, titled "Empire", was taken in downtown Toronto, Ontario, and digitally enhanced in Adobe PhotoShop to create a wholly new and unique image.

The competition features entries from across Canada in many different classes including Commercial, Industrial, Corporate, Portrait and Wedding categories. Acceptance in the Salon signifies outstanding photography in the field and is limited to four submissions each year.  Guilbault had two images accepted and exhibited in the National Imaging Salon, judged prior to the convention by a panel of Master Photographers from across Canada.
